Vouchers are issued to individuals who have successfully reached 28 days smoke-free, validated by a clear Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading.

Rewards on offer include family days out at Temple Newsam, Tropical World, Lotherton Hall and the Carriageworks Theatre, worth up to £200. Also on offer is membership for Active Leeds gyms, golf membership and The Arium garden centre.

This initiative is funded by Leeds City Council under the new Tobacco Grant funding provided by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

Terms and conditions

  • Eligibility: Vouchers are issued only to individuals who have successfully reached 28 days smoke-free, validated by a clear Carbon Monoxide (CO) reading.
  • One voucher choice per quitter
  • Vouchers cannot be used after the expiry date
  • Treat this voucher like cash
  • It is the voucher holder's responsibility to check the attraction/venue for opening hours, purchasing choices and facilities, including unexpected closures
  • Unused vouchers will not be honoured after their validation period has ended.
  • Check with the attraction/venue for opening hours and any closures.
  • If vouchers are not used in full, change will not be given.
  • Goods/services cannot be returned for a refund
  • The voucher/membership cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services
  • Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed vouchers will not be replaced, exchanged or refunded. Altered, defaced, or counterfeit vouchers will not be accepted
  • Vouchers are not valid for the purchase of alcohol
  • Vouchers must be presented/surrendered at time of use/purchase.
  • Leeds City Council reserves the right to suspend or close facilities for maintenance, events, or other reasons. Compensation or extensions will not be provided.
  • Leeds City Council reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • If the purchase exceeds the voucher value, the balance must be paid using an alternative payment method.
  • Altered, defaced, or counterfeit vouchers will not be accepted.
  • No refunds will be given for any changes or cancellations
  • Third party events and services are not included, for example Christmas experiences, Halloween events or private café/ice cream providers.
  • Parking may need to be paid for on site.

Active Leeds

  • Membership Duration: This membership is valid for 12 months from the activation date – membership must be activated before 1st September 2025
  • Access: Membership provides unlimited access to all Active Leeds gyms, swimming pools, and fitness classes, subject to availability and facility-specific policies for one person.
  • This membership may be given to another individual before activation. Once activated, the membership is assigned to the individual and cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Facility Rules: All members must adhere to the rules and regulations of each Active Leeds facility, including health and safety guidelines, dress codes, and booking procedures.
  • Lost Membership Cards: Replacement cards can be issued for a fee if the original card is lost or stolen.

The Arium Garden Centre

  • Valid for 12 months from purchase date.
  • Vouchers can be used in the Arium Garden Centre shop and café.
  • The vouchers cannot be used for online purchases.

Golf Pass

  • Golf card, which entitles the holder to unlimited games of golf between 1st July 2025 and 30th September 2025 at both Roundhay Park Golf Club and Temple Newsam Golf Club (18 holes at Temple Newsam and 9 holes at Roundhay Park)
  • Email the Golf Manager [email protected] to activate your membership.
  • You must show your golf card at the shop each time you come to play.
  • Cancellation Policy: The golf courses reserve the right to cancel bookings due to weather conditions, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. Alternative arrangements may be offered where possible.
  • Course Rules: All players must adhere to the rules and regulations of the respective golf courses, including dress codes, etiquette, and safety guidelines.
  • Restrictions: The pass is valid only for standard games and does not include special events, tournaments, or additional services such as equipment hire.

Tropical World

  • Vouchers are valid until 31st March 2026
  • Valid for the café, gift shop and zoo visits, which do not require pre-booking.
